Richmond Fellowship WA

ASPAC 2012

Richmond Fellowship has great pleasure of extending its invitation to consumers, carers, students and mental health workers in government, NGO and private provider settings and other stakeholders  to attend this year's ASPAC (Asia Pacific Conference on Mental Health)  to be held from the 11-13 June 2012 in Perth, this year.

RFWA is proud to be holding this milestone event and is cognisant that, it will not only spur discussion around many critical matters, but it will provide a space for both international and domestic speakers through a platform designed to engender and promote open and honest debate and discussion. The Cancer Council - "Couples with Cancer Workshop"

The Cancer Council WA is pleased to advise that through the generous support of the Brady Cancer Foundation the annual "Couples with Cancer Workshop" will be held on the 19th and 20th May 2012 at the Wollaston Collage. This workshop allows partners to spend time together in a relaxed and supportive environment to explore the impact of cancer on their life and relationship.
 
The workshop is limited to fourteen couples and registration is to be made via the Cancer Council WA Helpline 13 11 20. Medication Safety: Making a Difference

As part of this Symposium the WA Medication Safety Group is hosting

Putting the Patient at the Centre 
When: Tuesday May 29th 2012            2pm – 4:00pm
Where: Theatrette, Department of Health. 189 Royal St, EAST PERTH

Videoconferencing available for those in rural areas. Patient centred care and consumer/carer empowerment is essential for the safe use of medicines. The role of the patient and healthcare professionals in achieving this will be the focus of the session.

Consumers/carers and those working with consumer/carer groups are especially invited to attend this forum. Attendance at the morning session is also welcome.
