This weekly group provides an opportunity for those living with an acquired communication impairment resulting from stroke or degenerative conditions (such as Parkinson’s disease), to meet with others and practice their skills in a supportive environment.
To provide new or potential amputees with the opportunity to meet a fellow amputee who will listen, provide inspiration by example and impart information in a non-advisory empathetic and confidential manner. Peer Supporters are trained.

A support group for sufferers of the debilitating disease caused by the injection of dyes into the spine for the purpose of investigation of spinal injuries. Call or email for information if outside of QLD.
Provides emotional support to mothers who have been separated from their children by adoption in a friendly and supportive environment. Provides information to assist with reunion or post-adoption effects. Promotes community awareness of the long-term consequences of adoption, separation and secrecy and dispel the myth that adoption is a benign practice. Advocates for the rights of all affected by adoption and monitor legislative changes to adoption law. Encourages and promotes social and administrative reforms that address the needs of people already separated by adoption.
Works to improve the lives of people living with musculoskeletal conditions through education, self management and interaction with others in a similar situation. Various Support Groups for the various forms of Arthritis such as rheumatoid, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic, osteoarthritis, gout, fibromyalgia.
Creates the opportunity for people who have arthritis to meet and connect with others who understand. The group meets at the Albany Resource Centre, Lotteries House, 211 North Road Albany. The branch also runs warm water exercise classes at Albany Hospital hydrotherapy pool.

Offers support and promotes the emotional wellbeing of children and adolescents in health care before; during and after hospitalisation. Also offers a hospital familiarisation program for schools to help allay fear through education in a safe environment
